David McCrea

David McCrea serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Varo Bank since January 2023 and also holds the position of Founding Principal at CompAssured LLC, where trusted advisory services are provided for regulatory challenges. Previously, David directed compliance and audit services at Moss Adams, consulted on fintech regulatory needs at Treliant Risk Advisors, and developed compliance programs at Infosys. With a robust background in compliance management across various financial institutions, including Chief Compliance Officer roles at Horizon Bank and Frontier Bank, David has extensive expertise in Compliance Management System development, risk assessment, and regulatory oversight. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from USC Marshall School of Business.
