Assaf Ben-Ari

Assaf Ben-ari currently serves as the Director of Engineering for DevOps, DevSecOps, and Platform at Varonis since October 2018, leading a multi-geo SaaS Platform department comprising over 30 engineers and responsible for infrastructure architecture, security, and operational excellence in AWS and Azure environments. Prior experience includes roles as Senior DevOps Group Manager, DevOps Team Leader, and DevOps Engineer at Microsoft from May 2017 to April 2018, and a DevOps Engineer at Amdocs from June 2014 to May 2017. Additionally, Assaf worked as a Senior System Architect at Teva Pharmaceuticals from August 2011 to March 2014, and held engineering positions at Migdal Group and Ofek 324 Unit - IAF from 2006 to 2011. Assaf holds a B.A. in Business Management with Business Law from The Open University of Israel, obtained between 2012 and 2017.
