Gourab Ghosh

Gourab Ghosh is a seasoned engineering professional specializing in electric vehicle traction applications. Currently serving as a Lead R&D Engineer at Varroc since April 2017, Gourab Ghosh focuses on developing and prototype-testing control algorithms for various motors, including SPMSM and BLDC. Previously, as an Electromagnetics Design Engineer at Varroc, responsibilities included designing PMSM and BLDC motors using ANSYS-Maxwell for FEA simulations. Earlier experience includes a role as a Project Associate at the Office of Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research at IIT Madras, where Gourab Ghosh conducted electromagnetic finite element analysis for fuel injection systems. Gourab Ghosh earned a Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
