Eva Behrend

Eva Kandarpa Behrend is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in leading and managing communications strategies across various high-profile organizations. Currently serving as VP of Communications & Public Affairs at VAST, Eva is part of a team dedicated to establishing a permanent human presence in space through the world's first Commercial Space Station. Previous roles include VP of Communications at Chime, where responsibilities encompassed internal and external communications, and VP of Global Communications at Gopuff, where Eva led a global communications team. Other significant positions include Head of Corporate Communications at Quibi, a role focused on corporate and crisis communications at SpaceX, and Communications Director at Uber for the Western Region. Eva's expertise is further reinforced by advisory and community member roles at UNICORN and Mixing Board, respectively. With a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Communications from the University of Southern California, Eva brings a strong educational foundation to their professional endeavors.
