Justin Hartney

Justin Hartney is an experienced photographer and videographer currently holding the position of Senior Photographer & Videographer at VAST since February 2023, following the acquisition of Launcher. With over a decade of expertise, Justin has operated Justin Hartney Visuals since January 2012, gaining recognition for work featured in various media, including print magazines and the Travel Channel. Significant projects include serving as a camera operator for a NASA/JAXA rocket launch in Alaska in 2022. Previous roles include Technical Photographer at Boeing, Social Media Manager at Universal Hydrogen and SUPERMASSIVE SOCIAL, and Content Creator for The Tiffen Company, focusing on commercial photography and video. Additionally, Justin has contributed to producing content that communicates climate change narratives and has experience teaching astrophotography through Airbnb. Education was pursued at the University of Oregon.
