Richard Leshner

Richard B. Leshner, PhD, is an accomplished leader in the fields of aeronautics, space, and policy, currently serving as Vice President of Strategy at Sierra Space since February 2023. Previously, Richard held the position of Vice President for the Consulting Practice at BryceTech, focusing on market analysis, technology forecasting, and data analytics for various sectors, including defense and national security. Richard's extensive experience includes roles such as Executive Vice President of Operations for Planet Federal, where focus was on the geospatial market, and leadership positions at NASA and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Richard holds a PhD in Public Policy and Public Administration from The George Washington University, a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University.
