Engineer II at Vaxess Technologies

Jacob Boles has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Jacob began as an Intern at Maine Medical Center Research in 2015. In 2017, they took on the role of Student Researcher at Gateway Park WPI. In 2018, they were an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they conducted research to develop a functional drug delivery system against pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. Jacob presented their findings at the National Biomedical Engineering Society conference in Atlanta, GA. In 2019, they were a Research and Development Intern at Sappi North America. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Laboratory Teaching Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Cornell University, leading discussion sessions and managing course websites. Currently, they are an Engineer at Vaxess Technologies and a Process Development Associate and Process Development Associate II at Organogenesis.

Jacob Boles obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 2016 and 2020. Jacob then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Cornell University between 2020 and 2021. In May 2020, they also obtained a CSWA-Associate Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes.
