Andres Rojas has a diverse work experience across various industries. Andres began their career at Scotiabank, where they held several roles including Project Manager from 2004 to 2007. Andres then worked as an Intern at the British Chambers of Commerce in 2008 before joining a Global Pharmaceutical Company as an MBA consultant in 2009. Additionally, they have worked at Scotiabank in various roles such as International Associate from 2009 to 2012, Senior Manager in Operating Model Design from 2012 to 2015, and Senior Manager in Banking Operations Solutions from 2015 to 2017. Andres'smost recent position was at the Vector Institute as the Director of Applied AI Projects since 2019. Throughout their career, Andres has been involved in operational risk management, international banking, project management, and consulting.

Andres Rojas holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Chile, where they studied Economics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Andres later pursued an MBA in Consulting and Change Management from The University of Manchester. In addition to their degrees, Andres has obtained several certifications, including Designing and Building AI Products and Services from MIT xPRO, Business Design Thinking: From Insight to Innovation from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, Systems Thinking from LinkedIn, a Certificate on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Toronto, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
