Andrew Wong has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Andrew is currently working as a Software Engineer at Redpanda Data since May 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Cloudera, starting as a Software Engineering Intern in June 2016 and progressing to Staff Software Engineer in September 2020. Andrew also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer during their tenure at Cloudera. Andrew has also contributed to the open-source community as a PMC Chair and PMC Member of Apache Kudu at The Apache Software Foundation since July 2021. Additionally, they gained experience as a Master's Fellowship Student at Sandia National Laboratories in 2015 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Raytheon in 2014. Andrew began their research career as a Research Assistant at the Ozcan Research Group from June 2013 to March 2014.
Andrew Wong completed their education with a Master's Degree in Computer Science from UCLA in 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UCLA between 2011 and 2015. Andrew'searlier education includes completing high school at Saratoga High School from 2007 to 2011, earning a High School diploma.
