Trevor Malone is a Scientist 2 at SEKISUI Diagnostics since April 2020, specializing in the development and optimization of rapid RT-PCR chemistry and assay panels for infectious disease diagnosis. Expertise includes translating liquid RT-PCR chemistry to lyophilized beads and establishing molecular research laboratories with appropriate biosafety SOPs. Prior experience as a Senior Scientist at Roche Molecular Systems involved q-RT PCR and digital PCR assay development, alongside molecular cloning and analytical QC methods troubleshooting. Additional roles at Roche included contributions to multiplex assay research and automated nucleic acid purification technologies. Trevor Malone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego, earned in 2016.
