Brian Bakstran

Brian Bakstran is a seasoned marketing executive with extensive experience in strategic roles across several prominent technology companies. Currently serving as a Growth Advisory Board Member at SBI, The Growth Advisory since January 2022, Brian previously held senior positions at Veeam Software from 2017 to 2024, including Senior Vice President of Global Partner & Americas Marketing and Senior Vice President of Global Field Marketing, where achievements include being recognized as a 2018 Veeam Presidents Club member and a 2019 Tech Target MVP Executive. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Global Field and Partner Marketing and acting Chief Marketing Officer at NetApp (2010-2017), where Brian was part of the Sales Top Achievers Club in both 2013 and 2014. Earlier roles include Vice President of Product Marketing at CA (2005-2010) and Director of Global Marketing at Concord (2002-2005). Brian holds degrees from Northeastern University and Framingham University.
