Jur van Lieshout

Jur van Lieshout is an experienced leader in fire safety and emergency management, currently serving as the Head of Risk Management & Planning and a management team member for the safety region Fryslân at LSHT interim management en strategisch advies since January 2022. Additionally, Jur holds the position of National Coordinator for the National Lifesaving Fleet (NRV) and has led multiple significant projects, including the collaborative establishment of the LMS dispatch center for Eastern Netherlands and the development plan for firefighter services in North-Holland North. With a solid background in crisis management and operational leadership across various organizations, including Veiligheidsregio Kennemerland and Brandweer Amsterdam-Amstelland, Jur has been instrumental in shaping regional safety policies and event management strategies. Jur's educational qualifications include an engineering degree in Architecture from Inholland University and completion of the Nibra 39th Officer Training, alongside advanced management training at MCDM NIFV Nibra/NSOB.
