Taylor Doty

Taylor Doty is an accomplished professional in the field of mechanical engineering with extensive experience in additive manufacturing and business development. Currently serving as a Business Development Account Manager at Velo3D since March 2024, Taylor has previously held various roles at Relativity Space as an Additive Development Engineer and at Divergent 3D, where multiple leadership positions were undertaken, including Senior Manager of Additive Manufacturing Production. Prior experience includes a Lead Engineer position at GE Additive, focusing on external customer training and consultation, and a Lead Engineer role at GE Global Research, driving cost-saving design projects. Taylor's engineering expertise was further developed during time at GE Aviation, where significant contributions were made to FAA certification projects, and earlier work as an Engineering Co-Op at Toyota North America and a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan.
