Velocity Capital Advisors
Velocity Structured Solutions is a leader in non-dilutive, fund and management company financing. We provide cost-effective liquidity solutions to help borrowers enhance fund returns, optimize portfolio company balance sheets, and create liquidity for growth, succession planning or distributions. We manage multiple pools of capital dedicated to providing highly customized debt and preferred equity financing for alternative asset managers, including private equity funds, fund of funds, growth capital, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, and credit-oriented strategies. Our financings are typically cross-collateralized by the Net Asset Value (“NAV”) of a fund or management company’s key assets. Our clients’ situations tend to be unique and as such, we work in a consultative fashion with managers to create practical financing solutions and terms, tailored to the particular characteristics of the underlying collateral and based upon the partners’ intended use of loan proceeds. Our distinct pools of capital give us the flexibility to provide a broad range of financing solutions, such as variable draw and repayment features, a full spectrum of attachment points and coupons, and paid-in-kind optionality. We view our core NAV loan financing product as the basis for a broader strategic relationship with our clients; whereby, we can provide additional value-added financing solutions at each of the management company, fund and underlying portfolio company levels.
