Cera R. Fisher

Cera R. Fisher is a skilled professional with experience in community engagement and scientific research. Currently serving as Community Engagement Manager at Velsera since October 2022, Cera previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Cornell University from September 2020 to October 2022, where a high-quality genome for the Aedes aegypti mosquito was sequenced and assembled, enhancing the understanding of insecticide resistance. Earlier roles include serving as a CORE Science Instructor at Roger Williams University, where novel genetics labs were developed, and working as a Data Analyst at the Marine Biological Laboratory, testing machine learning software for biodiversity literature analysis.
