Parijat Kundu

Parijat Kundu is a seasoned professional in the field of scientific research, currently serving as a Senior Scientific Lead at Velsera since January 2023, where responsibilities include the development of systematic processes for variant interpretation in clinical oncology. Previous experience includes roles as Scientific Lead at Pierian, and progressively advanced positions at the University of Virginia, including a notable graduate dissertation project on the Herpes simplex virus 1. Earlier research contributions were made as a Project Fellow at the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology and during dissertation projects at the University of Calcutta, focusing on transcription factors and molecular cloning techniques. Parijat Kundu holds a Master of Science degree from both the University of Virginia and University of Calcutta, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
