Richard Rance

Richard Rance is an experienced software engineer currently serving as the Engineering Lead for External APIs and Integration Infrastructure at Vendasta since August 2019. In this role, Richard has defined strategic approaches for partner platform development and facilitated multiple teams in feature design and development, utilizing technologies such as gRPC, REST, OAuth2 SSO, GoLang, Python, and Angular/Typescript. Previously, Richard held positions at Vibe HCM, where responsibilities included leading benefits implementations as a team lead and product owner, as well as serving as a senior product architect. Richard's career began at Vibe HCM as a Developer Analyst, addressing client-reported issues and creating custom functionalities, following a brief tenure as a freelance software developer at Comfort Cabs and a tutor at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Richard holds a degree in Computer System Technology with Distinction in Software Development from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology.
