Monica Wheat is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in ecosystem development, corporate innovation, and startup acceleration. As the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Venture Catalysts, Monica focuses on programming, investment, and business development to support entrepreneurs in emerging markets. Additionally, as a co-lead for FoundersBoost Pre-Accelerator and managing director for various Techstars initiatives, Monica has played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration among entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and organizations. With a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, Monica has also contributed to programs such as Digerati Girls, which promotes digital careers among youth, and served in advisory roles across multiple organizations aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship. Monica's educational background includes studies at the University of Michigan and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
