Scott Stirrett is the Founder and CEO of Venture for Canada, a national charity established in April 2014 that promotes the development of entrepreneurial skills and mindsets among young Canadians. Prior to this role, Scott gained experience as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs from 2012 to 2014, where responsibilities included Master Agreement Risk Management and working with the Cross-Product Client Experience Team. Previous positions also include Director of Studies Office at the Council on Foreign Relations and a role in the Political Consulting Team at Hilltop Public Solutions in 2010. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on International Relations and Affairs from Georgetown University, completed in 2013, and completed the Not-for-profit Governance Essentials Program from the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2019. Scott's educational background also includes an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Halifax Grammar School, obtained in 2009.
