Alexander Bruun Christiansen

Alexander Bruun Christiansen is a seasoned optical engineer with extensive experience at 3Shape, serving in various capacities from Optical Engineer to Principal Optical Engineer since June 2018. Prior to this, Alexander held the roles of Board Member, CTO, and R&D Engineer at SiOx, where involvement included leading an Innovation Fund Denmark project aimed at preventing food contamination in industry. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Optical Engineering and Nanotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark, as well as a Master of Science in Physics and Nanotechnology from the same institution. Further education includes participation in an Erasmus exchange program at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and executive education at Harvard Business School. Earlier career experience includes a postdoctoral position and a student role at Amminex A/S, focused on data analysis and test system operations.
