Laurent Gateau

Laurent Gateau is an experienced software architect and engineer with extensive expertise in embedded automotive software development. Since April 2015, Laurent has held the position of Senior Principal Engineer at Veoneer, focusing on global development of crash algorithms within the RCS platform. Prior to this role, Laurent served as a Principal Engineer at Veoneer, also responsible for crash algorithms. Laurent's career began at Autoliv, where from April 2001 to April 2015, involvement included roles as a Designer in software development, specifically in areas such as CAN messaging, crash algorithms, EDR recording, and sensor driver handling. Laurent holds a degree in Embedded Software Engineering from UTBM and a degree in Electrical and Industrial Computing Engineering from IUT Le Creusot.
