Karlea Abair is a dedicated professional in the field of social work with extensive experience in care management and advocacy. Currently serving as a Care Manager at Prime Care Coordination since December 2019, Karlea also volunteers as a Sexual Assault Advocate at Vera House, Inc., providing emotional support to survivors and connecting them with necessary resources. As a Direct Support Professional at Advocates Incorporated since May 2014, Karlea empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve self-sufficiency. Previous roles include an internship at Dorothy Day House focused on assisting homeless families and a Resident Advisor position at Chadwick Residence, where support was given to at-risk families in securing housing and employment. Karlea holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Syracuse University and an Associate's Degree in Human Services from Onondaga Community College.
