Jian Gallo-Kohn is a seasoned equity practitioner with extensive experience in race, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at the Vera Institute of Justice since July 2018, Jian is instrumental in guiding the organization to operationalize equity and collaborates closely with various departments to implement effective equity strategies. Previous roles include serving as an REI Associate and Center Coordinator, where Jian supported project management and team collaboration for the Center on Victimization and Safety. Jian's internship experiences span notable organizations such as the Obama Foundation and Human Rights Campaign, complementing an educational background that includes a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government with a focus on Criminal Justice from The George Washington University.
