Taylor Cavazos

Taylor Cavazos is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Veracyte, Inc. since June 2025, with prior experience as a Staff Scientist and Senior Scientist in Computational Biology at Exai Bio from May 2022 to June 2025. Taylor also served as a Computational Biology Intern at 23andMe, where an eQTL analysis was conducted. Academic background includes a PhD in Biological and Medical Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and a UCSF Discovery Fellowship, with research focused on statistical genetics and polygenic risk scores.
