Chris Leather

Chris Leather currently serves as a Cloud Platform Architect at Verafin since July 2022, following a role as VP of Technology and Security at Sequence Bio. Leather has extensive experience in cloud and security leadership, previously holding the position of Director of Cloud & Security at Verafin from 2013 to 2021. Prior to that, an Enterprise Architect role at Plato Consulting Inc. involved contract work for Inmarsat. Chris Leather also worked as Chief Architect at CV Retail, focusing on online accounting systems for the gas station industry, and served as a Senior Systems Analyst at iteba, delivering projects for prominent clients. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry and a BSc in Chemistry, both from Swansea University.
