João Lemos

João Lemos is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in back-end and full-stack development. Currently serving as a Senior Back-end Engineer at Veriff since January 2025, João previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Snyk from November 2019 to November 2024, where responsibilities included managing complex reporting needs and evolving data management in a rapidly growing environment. Prior experience includes roles at EduMe, Fospha, digifi.it, OpenBet, Opensoft, and internships at INESC-ID and SysValue, focusing on various aspects of software and web application development. João earned a Master’s degree in Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
