Roy Smith is an experienced IT professional specializing in server and infrastructure management, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Systems Administrator at VERIPOS since March 2021, Roy focuses on server management and infrastructure projects within Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division, including Microsoft Windows Server configuration and management. Prior roles include Infrastructure SME at prosource.it, Infrastructure Analyst at RWG (Repair & Overhauls) Limited, and Server/Infrastructure Engineer positions at various companies, including Lockheed Martin and Sword IT Solutions, where Roy developed expertise in VMware vSphere, data center networking, and failover clustering. Roy's educational background includes a BSc in Computing and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management Studies, both from Robert Gordon University.
