John A. Cochran

John A. Cochran has extensive work experience in corporate strategy and development. John A. started their career at Credit Suisse First Boston as an Equity Research Associate from August 1999 to November 2000. John A. then joined Verisign in February 2003 as a Senior Consultant, where they performed corporate strategy work for the mobile wireless industry. Subsequently, they became a Senior Manager in Corporate Development and Product Management at Verisign from September 2004 to March 2011. In this role, they managed acquisitions, divestitures, and business development transactions, and led the creation and launch of a new VoIP communications product. John A. was then promoted to Director of Corporate Strategy and Development at Verisign from March 2011 to October 2015, where they managed strategy projects, acquisitions, divestitures, and business development transactions. Finally, they became a Senior Director in Corporate Strategy and Development at Verisign in October 2015, leading the company's corporate strategy and development initiatives. Verisign is a provider of critical internet infrastructure services.

John A. Cochran completed an MBA in Financial Engineering from MIT Sloan School of Management from 1997-1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
