Angie Mauga

Angie Mauga, CIA, currently serves as a Senior Internal Auditor at Veritex Community Bank, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Angie gained extensive experience at Weaver, progressing from Associate I to Senior Associate in Risk Advisory Services between August 2020 and December 2023, as well as completing a Risk Advisory Internship there in late 2019. Additional internship experiences include roles at EY and Petco, where notable contributions included audits and control assessments. Angie's leadership skills were also demonstrated as President/Treasurer/Teaching Assistant at the Center for Internal Auditing Excellence, coordinating events and meetings for internal audit functions. Angie holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas.
