Elizabeth Davies is a seasoned legal and privacy professional with over 10 years of experience in data protection, privacy, and security across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Privacy Officer and Deputy General Counsel at Verkada since July 2023, Elizabeth previously held the position of Sr. Director and Global Head of Data Protection at Splunk from April 2015 to February 2023. Expertise includes managing global privacy programs and navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA, along with incident response and cloud security attestations. Elizabeth's extensive background encompasses roles as Sr. Legal Counsel at Advent Software, General Counsel at New Generation Computing, and Senior Counsel at Hancock, Rothert and Bunshoft, complemented by a JD from Temple University and a BA from Tufts University.
