Gaurav Paruthi

Gaurav Paruthi is a seasoned software engineer with significant experience across multiple cutting-edge technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Verkada since June 2021, Gaurav previously co-founded Arboreum, a startup focused on credit union services, and held the CTO position while securing grants from Algorand and Consensys. Gaurav's background includes roles at Kindred.ai as an R&D Engineer, where innovative computer vision models were developed for robotics, and IDEO as a CoLab Summer Fellow, leading the creation of a real-time occupancy monitoring system. Research contributions at the University of Michigan, alongside experiences at various research institutions, highlight Gaurav's expertise in behavior change systems and data analysis. Gaurav holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
