Gilles Moreau

Gilles Moreau serves as the Chief Open Innovation & Sustainability Officer and co-founder at Verkor since July 2020, focusing on advancing Lithium-ion cell technology and manufacturing. Additionally, Gilles is a Founding Board Member and CTO at Lancey Energy Storage, where efforts are directed towards developing an efficient heater with an integrated battery to enhance energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. At Time for the Planet, Gilles contributes as an Associate. Prior experience includes roles as Energy Storage Project Manager at CEA, where management of European-funded projects was undertaken, and as a Fuel Cell Application Engineer at 3M, overseeing Fuel Cell projects and laboratory implementations. Gilles also worked as an R&D Fuel Cell Engineer at Renault, contributing to multidisciplinary teams in Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle architecture. Educational credentials include an Engineering degree in Electrochemistry, Materials, and Process from Grenoble INP - UGA.
