Jonathan Becker has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Jonathan currently holds the position of Vice President of Underwriting at Vermont Mutual Insurance Group since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Acadia Insurance for 14 years, where they held various roles such as Regional Vice President - Branch Manager, AVP - Assistant Branch Manager, and Director of UW. Before their time at Acadia Insurance, Jonathan worked at Chubb as a Senior Underwriting Officer and Team Leader from 2001 to 2006. From 2000 to 2001, they served as an Executive Underwriter at Travelers, and earlier in their career, they worked at Fireman's Fund as a New Business Underwriter from 1996 to 2000.
Jonathan Becker attended Novato High School in Novato, CA from 1986 to 1988. Following that, they attended Joel Barlow High School in Redding, CT from 1988 to 1990. Finally, they attended the University of Maine from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
