Mike Allen has extensive work experience in the field of data center strategy, engineering, and operations. Mike currently holds the position of COO at Verne Global, a company they joined in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 2013 to 2022, serving as the Managing Director and Global Head of Data Center Strategy, Engineering & Operations. Before their time at JPMorgan Chase, they held the role of Global Head of Data Centre Engineering and Europe Operations at Goldman Sachs from 2007 to 2013. Mike also worked at JP Morgan Chase as a Data Center design, build, and technology enablement program lead, as well as an Application migration manager from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they served as the IT Director and CTO for the Europe Region at VIA Networks from 2000 to 2003. Mike'scareer started at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where they worked as the Head of Data and Voice Network Programs and the Head of Data Center Programs from 1996 to 2000.
