Tate Cantrell has a strong background in technology and leadership roles. Tate started their career in 2003 as the Vice President of Data Center Technologies at DuPont Fabros Technology. In 2008, they joined Verne Global as the Chief Technology Officer, where they focused on delivering high-performance computing solutions built upon renewable resources. In 2009, they became a Board Of Directors member at SinglePoint Global. In 2010, Tate founded and ran 40for40, a charity event that involved running 40 miles to celebrate life and support charitable causes. Tate also volunteered as a coach at Washington DC Youth Rugby in 2016. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at The Langley School from 2016 to 2019. Overall, Tate Cantrell has a diverse range of experience in technology, leadership, philanthropy, and volunteering.

Tate Cantrell began their education in 1989 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Tate completed their studies in 1993 after four years of academic commitment. Subsequently, Cantrell joined Tulane University in 1993 and earned a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 1995.
