Prior experience includes managing editorial responsibilities as Managing Editor at Destination Review from January 2021 to October 2022, and serving in marketing roles at The Outbox Company, Informa Markets, and KOTRA. Mai began a career in marketing as a Marketing Executive at KOTRA and developed skills as a Senior Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager in subsequent positions.
