Following that, they joined Taylor Morrison as a Senior Manager Internal Audit in 2017, where they led the execution of audit procedures and developed recommendations to address audit issues. Currently, Matthew is working at Verra Mobility as the Director of Internal Audit, a position they started in 2023.

Matthew then pursued further education at Arizona State University from 2010 to 2012, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Finance. Matthew Carreon is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Arizona State Board of Accountancy.
