Vishal Garg

Vishal Garg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Vishal started their career at Cadence Design Systems in 2006, where they worked as a Perl Unix Developer for six years. Vishal then moved on to Citi as a Perl Unix Developer from May 2012 to April 2013. Following that, they joined VMware as a Python Perl Development Engineer, working on the Tools Research and Development (TRD) project. At VMware, they implemented various development life cycle phases and was responsible for migrating data from multiple ticketing tools to a global company repository. Vishal also scripted import/export tasks using REST APIs in Perl and Python and managed database migration and backups.

In 2014, Vishal joined PIMCO as a Software Development in Test Automation, before moving to Cisco as a Software Development Engineer In Test from October 2014 to April 2016. Vishal then joined Oracle as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, specializing in the automation of Oracle Database as a Service on Oracle Public Cloud Platform. Vishal worked at Oracle from May 2016 to July 2018.

Currently, Vishal is working at Versa Networks as a Senior Software Development Engineer Test, a role they began in July 2018. Later, they transitioned to the position of Senior Software Manager in October 2022.

Vishal Garg obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from G.B. Pant Govt. Engineering College, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. During the same period, they also completed a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A) program with a focus on Computer Science at the same institution.
