Sara Kohnke

Sara Kohnke, PhD, is a Senior Data Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since August 2023, previously holding similar positions at EQRx. Prior to transitioning to the industry, Kohnke was a Health Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, focusing on neural mechanisms related to obesity treatment. Additional experience includes an internship at NHS, evaluating early screening measures and diagnostic tests, as well as teaching bioinformatics and neurobiology at the University of Cambridge. Kohnke earned a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge and a Master's Degree in Neuroscience from UCL.
