Ben Lawrence

Ben Lawrence is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as the Aircraft Simulation IPT Lead and Simulation Technical Lead at Vertical Aerospace since January 2021. Previously, Ben held the position of Flight Mechanics Specialist at Leonardo from April 2018 to January 2021, contributing to various programs including the Rotary Wing Unmanned System Capability Concept Demonstrator and the NextGen Civil Tiltrotor. Ben's expertise also includes roles as a Flight Controls and Analysis Methodologies Engineer at Science and Technology Corporation, and as a Senior Research Associate in NASA Rotorcraft Aeromechanics at San José State University Research Foundation. Ben's early career includes significant positions at NASA, QinetiQ, and the University of Liverpool, culminating in a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
