Jim McMillan

Jim McMillan currently serves as the Head of Product Lifecycle Management at Vertical Aerospace since March 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Leader UK at ALTEN, focusing on Mechanical Systems Installation, and significant positions at Airbus, including System Integration Manager for the A350XWB and A380 and Electrical Design Integration Manager for the A400M. Previous roles at Fairchild Dornier and Bombardier Aerospace involved leading hydraulic design efforts for regional jets, while earlier experience at BAE Systems encompassed various engineering roles across multiple aircraft platforms. Jim McMillan completed a Higher Scotec in Aeronautical Engineering at Ayr Technical College between 1980 and 1984.
