Gualter Carvalho, CPA, CMA, has over 20 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Controller at VerticalScope Inc. since April 2016, Gualter previously held roles at Softchoice from April 2009 to April 2016, including General Accounting Manager for Services, Senior Financial Planning Analyst, and Manager of Financial Operations. Gualter also served as Accounting Manager at Vizible Corporation and Cryptologic, and held an Accounts Payable Manager position at Softchoice early in the career. Gualter began in finance as an Accounts Receivable Analyst at Aztech New Media Corporation. Gualter earned a CPA, CMA designation between 2010 and 2011 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University, obtained from 1993 to 1997.
