Melanie Mathis is an experienced product executive in the insurance sector, currently serving as the Head of Product & Pricing at VERVE, a predictive analytics company focusing on low-frequency private passenger auto customers since January 2022. Prior to this role, Melanie worked as an Independent Consultant for a Stealth Startup from August 2020 to January 2022 and held the position of Vice President of Product at Embark General from May 2018 to August 2020, where responsibilities included the rollout and success of non-standard auto programs. With over 15 years in product development, Melanie previously served as Vice President of Product at Access Insurance Company, Inc., achieving significant increases in written premiums and improvements in loss ratios. Early career experience includes managing a laboratory at Analytical Environmental Services, Inc. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Georgia.
