Matt Vanhouten has a diverse range of work experience in product management and coaching roles. Matt is currently the Head of Product at VGS, a position they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Head Soccer Coach at the East Bay Eclipse Soccer Club, starting in 2018. Matt also has experience as a self-employed Payment Strategy Consultant from 2023 to 2023. Matt co-founded Ansible Labs in 2022 and served as the Head of Product, where they raised $7M in seed funding and built a team to develop their product. Matt also has a background in the financial industry, having held various product management roles at Visa, Wells Fargo, DigitalPay, and J.P. Morgan from 2004 to 2022.
Matt Vanhouten earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature from SUNY Geneseo, where they attended from 1996 to 1999. Matt also obtained a Scrum@Scale Practitioner certification from Scrum Inc.
