Karlo Hercigonja has extensive experience in the field of information technology and automation engineering. Currently serving as Team Lead and IT Product Owner for Connectivity at Vetropack Group since November 2020, Karlo previously held the position of Information Technology Network Administrator. Prior to this role, Karlo worked as a PLC Programmer at PIA Automation Austria GmbH for a brief period in 2019. Karlo holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Systems and Technologies from FER, obtained in 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician from FER, completed in 2018.

Vetropack Holding SA is a Switzerland-based holding company engaged in the manufacture of glass packaging for the food and beverage industry. The Group offers such services as the design, production and delivery of tailor-made glass, as well as consulting and support services in the area of packaging analysis, bottling, conditioning, closure technology, decorative refinement and labeling. The Vetropack Group operates seven production sites and 16 melting furnaces with a total aggregate production capacity of more than 4, 000 tons per day. The Company operates collection centers at its production site in order for used glass to be brought in for recycling.
