Javier Alonso has a diverse range of work experience in the veterinary field. Starting in 2008, they worked at Centro Veterinario Villalba i.f. as a Veterinary Surgeon, where they conducted general consultations and performed surgeries independently. In 2009, they briefly worked at AMC Referral Services as a Veterinary Surgeon before joining Eville & Jones the same year. At Eville & Jones, Javier served as a Veterinary Surgeon and later as an Official Veterinarian, specializing in public health and food safety. In 2014, they transitioned to The Pets at Home Vet Group, serving as a Veterinary Surgeon at Companion Care Chesterfield and then as a Joint Venture Partner, Managing Director, and Veterinary Surgeon at Vets4Pets Clowne. In these roles, Javier focused on improving clinic performance, managing business strategy, and solving issues.
Javier Alonso completed a Master's Degree in Food Safety from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. in 2011. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2002, they obtained a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidad de Extremadura, specializing in Veterinary Medicine.
