Debby Olow (Deborah)

Debby Olow is a dedicated researcher currently employed at VGW since January 2023. With significant experience in various research roles, Debby served as a (Senior) Research Officer and co-facilitator for the Beyond Violence Program at the National Drug Research Institute from February 2017 to July 2022, focusing on interventions for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal women perpetrators of violence, among other studies. Previous positions include Youth Justice Services Case Manager at Outcare, Research Assistant at The University of Western Australia for the Health in Prisons Australia Study, and Forensic Interviewer at Edith Cowan University for the Drug Use Monitoring in Australia Study. Debby holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Justice and an Honours degree in the same field from Edith Cowan University.
