Roland Chochoiek

Roland Chochoiek has extensive work experience in various executive roles. Roland currently serves as the CEO of VIA optronics since August 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at VIA optronics from August 2022 to August 2023. From January 2010 to July 2022, they worked at Heitec AG as an Executive Vice President. Before that, they held the same role at Rittal from February 2008 to December 2009. Roland also served as the Vice President of Sales Operations and Marketing EMEA at Solectron Corp. / Flextronics Int. from August 2004 to January 2008. Additionally, Roland held various international management positions in Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support at Force Computers from 1988 to 1999, including roles such as Corp. Director, Corp./Customer Marketing, Corporate Director, Standard & Telecom Platforms (STP) Europe, and others.

Roland Chochoiek started their education in 1981 at the Bundeswehr University Munich, where they studied Electrical Engineering/Communications Technology. Roland completed their diploma degree, equivalent to a Master of Science (M.Sc.), in this field in 1984. In 1985, they pursued further education at FernUniversität in Hagen, focusing on Economics, Business Administration, and Marketing. Roland completed their studies in these subjects and obtained a degree in Betriebswirt in 1990.
