Hamid Hemmati, Ph. D, currently serves as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Viasat Inc. since January 2020. Previously, Hamid held the position of Director of Engineering for Telecomm Infrastructure at Facebook from June 2014 to December 2019. Additionally, Hamid spent nearly three decades at Caltech - NASA / Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) from 1986 to May 2014, where responsibilities included serving as Principal Member of Technical Staff and Technical Group Supervisor.
