Kevin Simpson has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Global Teleport and Data Centre Manager and Engineering Manager at Viasat since January 2018. Prior roles include Teleport Manager at RigNet and Inmarsat, where responsibilities focused on managing teleport operations. Prior to that, Kevin held various positions such as RNOC Manager and Project Coordinator at Stratos Global Ltd, as well as roles in field technical support at Invsat. Kevin began a career in telecommunications as a Telecomms Technician with Grampian Fire & Rescue Service. Educational qualifications include an HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from North East Scotland College.
